Safety & Usage

  • Maintain Clearances – Keep at least 18 inches of space between the stove and any combustible materials. Use a heat shield or fireproof hearth to reduce clearances.
  • Proper Flue Installation – We recommend using a Triple Wall Pipe Section and a Flashing Kit for safe stove jack exits.
  • Practice Safe Fire Management – Always start your fire with small tinder and avoid flammable accelerants like lighter fluid. Operate the stove outdoors for first burns to perfect your technique.
  • Prevent Creosote Build-Up – Clean the chimney regularly (approx. every 20 hours of burn time) to maintain efficient airflow and prevent fire hazards.
  • Never Leave Unattended – Always monitor the stove when in use, wear protective leather gloves, and keep children and pets at a safe distance.
