Warranty Policy

All Wilderness Resource products are backed by our 1-Year Wild Warranty, covering manufacturing defects under normal use for one year from the original date of purchase.

What’s Covered

This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship for all Wilderness Resource tents and related products. If a manufacturing defect is confirmed, we will provide either a replacement product or the specific components proven to be defective.

What’s Not Covered

The warranty does not cover any damage resulting from misuse, neglect, improper setup, storage, or handling. Issues caused by failure to properly care for the tent, environmental exposure, mold, mildew, UV degradation, fire, or severe weather are not considered manufacturing defects. Damage caused by negligence or lack of maintenance will void the warranty claim.

How to File a Warranty Claim

To initiate a warranty claim, please contact us through the Contact Us page or email info@wildernessresource.com. Include the following:

  • Your order number
  • A detailed description of the issue and why you believe it qualifies as a manufacturing defect
  • Photos and videos clearly showing the defect
  • Your current shipping address for replacement parts or products

Providing clear documentation helps us expedite the review process and determine eligibility.

Transferability

The Wild Warranty is fully transferable. The new owner must provide the original order number and other relevant purchase details. The warranty period continues from the original purchase date, not the date of transfer.

Warranty Resolution

Approved warranty claims will result in a replacement product or replacement components, depending on the nature of the defect. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, while Wilderness Resource will cover outgoing replacement shipping within the United States.

Processing Time

Warranty claims are typically reviewed and processed within 5–7 business days after all required information and media have been received.

Warranty Duration

All warranty coverage begins on the date of the original purchase. Replacement products or components do not extend or reset the original one-year warranty period.

Do I need to send my defective item back?
In most cases, we may ask for photos or videos first to verify the issue. If physical inspection is required, we will provide instructions for return shipping.

How long will it take to receive my replacement?
Once approved, replacements typically ship within 3–5 business days. Delivery time may vary based on your location and shipping method.

Is normal wear and tear covered under warranty?
No. Wear and tear from normal use, including minor scuffs, fading, or weather exposure, is not covered.

Do I need to register my product for warranty coverage?
No registration is required. Your original order number automatically activates your 1-Year Wild Warranty.

Can I transfer my warranty if I sell or gift my tent?
Yes. The warranty is transferable if the new owner can provide the original order number and purchase details. Coverage lasts one year from the original purchase date.
