from 67 reviewsWe are extremely happy with our purchase. The Galaxy Air Beam Tent is very spacious and inflates quickly, making setup easy and stress-free. We’ve already taken it camping and it performed exactly as expected.
The delivery was fast, and communication from the team was excellent throughout the process. Everything arrived exactly as expected, and the quality exceeded our expectations.
Highly recommend both the product and the company. Great job!
My wife EVA and I live in the Astral tent for a year now, it’s been an adventure, but it hasn’t all been easy .
I’ve been guiding individuals and groups on wilderness expeditions for over 50 years, as an artist and a wildlife photographer.
Most of those years we traveled in a motorhome and stayed across the entire country. That’s one way.
I will say this - the ASTRAL TENT is an amazing way to camp, but it’s not like a motorhome or a normal tent. It takes a lot of space, so be sure you have adequate space for a tent this size. And staying for a couple weeks is one thing, staying in a couple months or longer is another. Time and space is important, that being said the tent itself, the structure, is truly well worth the investment .
However, everything you put on the inside of the tent, affects, quality of your life.
Therefore, everything else is up to you, but it’s a great Tent. I highly recommend it but once again ,
It’s takes time and space, but that’s what we’re all looking for after all .
We hope you enjoy the Astro tent ,as much as we have.
By the way, we have two tents - one is our base camp home, the other is my studio where I create art. Both are Astro tents and are 20 x 20 with two doors. We live in the middle of a hayfield along the Kings River in Berryville AR, primitive camping. We experienced high wind gust in the 45 + MPH to heavy downpours that would last for days, to the 8 inches of heavy wet snow that covered both tents, and everything has held up well! I also recommend getting the cover for your Astral tent. Not only does it provide additional protection, it also provides 12 points to secure your tent to the ground.
Good luck and enjoy the outdoors!

The Astral 16-foot tent is incredibly well-built and one of the best large canvas tents I’ve used. The material feels durable and premium, the stitching is solid, and the space inside is huge—plenty of room for a bed, furniture, and gear. It holds up great in wind, keeps the interior surprisingly cool, and the ventilation is excellent. Setup is straightforward for a tent this size, and once it’s up, it feels sturdy and reliable.
Overall, it’s a top-notch tent for glamping, long stays, or Airbnb use. Worth every penny!
Ive purchased two Galaxy Dome Tents which comes with a tunnel attachment worth the purchase of two. There are other options on wilderness resource tents and might be a little pricey but it is made here in the good ol U.S of A. Do your research when it comes to selections. First ask yourself what is it being used for? As for myself, Galaxy tent was perfect for me and my wife one side to set our bed in and the other side for entertainment. Long lasting durable materials rated as a 4 season tent. Also owned by a Veteran. So as a fellow Veteran myself I’m always going to be a supportive member of a veteran owned business trying to get their product out there. Im not sponsored or affiliated with the business. But i have reached out to them about their product. They were quick and responsive and above all a Texan Veteran like myself. So i highly recommend their product its of high quality, long lasting, 4 seasons, tough canvas material, innovative, inflatable and holds its PSI for a long period of time. must have if you’re camping or glamping or seeing up as a base camp on a hunting trip.
Easy to set up and take down. Love the 10’ ceiling. Like having your own apartment at the campsite
ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL❣️ The Pyramid glamping tent is FANTASTIC!🏕️ It's an extremely high quality, spacious, cheerful tent.😊 You have the option to bring the "outdoors in" with 4 big beautiful screened windows/ doors, or "shut the outdoors out" by zipping the canvas closed for privacy/ shade. It withstood winds up to aproximately 30 miles/ hour. It shed the rain very well. No water leaked inside. We also purchased the pole light, which was awesome for playing cards into the night! I believe this tent is going to be worth every penny spent, and last for many many future camping trips!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I would definitely recommend this tent!👍
Perfect addition to the astral. I little extra weight but not bad while lifting to the center pole but well worth the effort. Love how it seems to actually help cool out on hot days. The LED interior light adds to the looks at night. Can’t wait to get this up in the winter it’s really going to be awesome.
We built our nonprofit glampground around 8 Stargazer Tents from Wilderness Resource — and they’ve truly been the perfect choice. As an educational farm and working nonprofit (Hungry World Farm), we were looking for something that blended affordability, durability, and visual impact. These tents hit all three.
Our guests love the “yurt-style” glamping experience, especially the ability to walk fully around the tents (unlike bell tents), and the interior space is ideal — easily fits two queen beds or a king + futon with room to spare. The 360° windows allow for great airflow, and the clear ceiling panel adds a magical touch that guests rave about.
From a business standpoint, these tents are a game-changer:
They allow for affordable nightly rates while maintaining high occupancy, because the style is just unique enough to draw glamping-curious guests who don’t want to pay $300+ for domes or traditional yurts.
The ROI is exceptional — a basic setup with a bed, solar lights, and a few pieces of repurposed furniture makes these units rental-ready at a fraction of the cost of comparable structures.
Unlike domes or traditional yurts, you don’t need a permit to set them up and start renting.
We’ve tested other tent styles (including standard $400 tents with similar capacity), and they simply don’t rent as well. Small tents get passed over — folks would rather bring their own unless you’re offering something truly special. These tents are that “something special.”
Durability-wise, they've been phenomenal. We’ve had them up through Illinois thunderstorms, high winds, and even full winters (we just brushed snow off occasionally). One tent even survived a massive oak tree falling on it — the tent was dented down but no rips, no broken poles, and the inside was unharmed. That kind of durability gives us serious peace of mind.
We’ve had one loop break in over a year, but there are backups built in. Pro tip: only allow guests to use one of the two doors, so if the zipper gets damaged, you’ve got a backup.
I won’t get too deep into the financials here (trying not to give away all our secrets to other glamp-grounds near Chicago 😉), but if you’re a landowner or farm looking to earn income through glamping, these tents are the best investment we’ve made. They’ve directly supported our mission of ecosystem restoration, food bank donations, and regenerative agriculture education.

Amazing addition to the astral tent , It slips over easily enough during setup but transform’s the entire look of the astral Tent and feeling. I recently set mine up in my woods and IT really helps with holding off the heat thank you. I wish i could up load a picture IT looks that cool
I was worried that this would have one of those blowers that keeps the whole thing inflated but thats not the case. Inflate it once, close the cap, and you are set. Very cool system and it makes setup ez.
I just installed my Lotus Belle 13 Stargazer and wanted some extra protection from the trees and weather. My second night we had a pretty big rain storm and I'm sure it helped repel the water and kept me dry and I could see the rain on the fly above. Its awesome and really happy with the performance and construction.
Very cool tent. Easy setup for the amount of space you get.
Fast shipping and a very cool tent. Love how easy it is to set up!
I already have the 16 foot stargazer Astral tent and thought I'd give this one a shot. Setup is super easy and not having a center pole made a much bigger difference space-wise than I thought it would. I used the electric inflator I had in my car for my paddle board and it was up in no time. Another awesome tent from this company and I couldnt be happier!
First off, you need at least 2 people but the more help you can get the faster it will go. It took my wife and me about a week to assemble, working a few hours on it every day. The instructions are very helpful so pay attention or you'll be kicking yourself for trying to cut corners - just trust me on this one. We were shopping around for a geo dome for a while and this was the best price for the size we were able to find. The quality is great and once fully assembled the frame is rock solid. The covering for it is VERY heavy duty, and the massive door made furnishing it a breeze. We are both overjoyed with our dome and how helpful their customer service is. 10/10
